Does John M speak?
This is somewhat of a common topic on the DT message boards.

When around a camera, or a crowd, JM is very soft-spoken. We have been assured however that this is not true in private.

If you really want to hear his voice, pick up his instructional video.

I actually heard him speak in person, backstage in Stockholm in 2004, so yes...he speaks, but his words may be few...

John talks quite a lot on certain DVD commentary tracks, most notably "Images And Words: Live In Tokyo" and "When Dream And Day Reunite"

John Myung did speak a lot when he went here in the Philippines around two years ago to do a Bass Clinic for the Yamaha Corporation. I was there in person to watch him perform and to learn his bass-playing techniques.

He's soft-spoken, yes. But he'll talk when you just ask him to. :)

Yes,he speaks...i met him once when he was doin\' the YJM2 clinic in my country...i think the more appropriate question is \"Does John M speak a lot?\"

Well, if we put together ALL of what he sas spoken in DT DVDs (discarding his instructional video) How much it will be? it'll be at least half an hour?
